In the Beginning.

I came across a quote from Justice O'Connor during one of my readings, and I'm quoting roughly...

The work you do should both contribute to society and give you personal satisfaction - law is both a profession and a calling.

I'm doing law school for a variety of reasons but I think the most important one is that law school and a law degree and maybe a law career allows me to prove something to the world, and to myself. That I can achieve something on this level because I care enough. I know it depends on what I'm going to do with it. I know it depends on what I actually end up doing, but for right now... I'm pursuing this course, this path because I want to. Maybe not as much as I should, but at least I have a goal and the desire.

I feel like I'm on the right path.

Now all I have to do is about 70 pages of reading and prepping for class on Monday.

Ready? Set! Go. (Whether you really are ready or not)
